Art By The Turtle is a woman-led enterprise that specializes in creating, unique, handmade and artistic crochet items. From intricate lace shawls to vibrant blankets. each piece is carefully crafted by skilled artisans,from across the country, who pour their heart and soul into every stitch. 

The company founder,a passionate woman herself, when faced with the intrepid task of keeping herself occupied mentally during the long winters of American East Coast, turned to crochet as a hobby. This burgeoning hobby was very well received on social media and hence the idea of starting a small business was formed. Circumstances and worldwide clampdown due to covid ensured that the idea frutified into a work-from-home set up for not just the founder herself, but also the for the women who painstakingly make each of the product at their own convenience, from the comfort of their homes.

By providing a platform for women artisans to show case their labors, we are trying in our own small way to give back something to those who need it most.

We are inherently, irrevocably Animal Friendly.. Our name itself, is a homage to the pet turtles of one of our founders!

Who are we!

We are a rapidly growing team of women creators,and exceptional artists. We prapare handmade crafts. Besides this almost all of us have substantial corporate experience, which we are drawing on as we establish ourselves. What binds us together is deep love for Art and Aesthetics. It would be almost poetic to suggest that we have over time evolved from seasoned office goers into full time artists and entrepreneurs. All things artistic excite us and we love to create.
